Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Gringa Ads (“the app”, “we”) handles information when an authorized user connects a Google account to it. Gringa Ads is an internal tool used by our team to manage our own Google Ads campaigns; it is not offered to the public.
Information we access
When you authorize the app, it requests one Google permission: the Google Ads scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). This gives the app access to the Google Ads accounts your Google account can already manage, including:
- account, campaign, ad group, ad, keyword and budget settings;
- performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost and conversions.
The app does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service, and it does not collect your Google password.
How we use it
- To create, edit, pause or enable campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords and budgets when an operator explicitly asks the app to do so.
- To read performance reports for our own campaigns.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or any purpose unrelated to managing those campaigns.
Storage and security
The OAuth credentials (access and refresh tokens) are stored only on the authorized operator's own computer, in a private configuration file that is never published or committed to source control. The app has no server and no database of Google user data. Reports downloaded for analysis stay on that computer. All communication with Google uses HTTPS.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not transfer it to anyone, except when required by law.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Gringa Ads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Credentials are kept only while the app is in use. You can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; revoking immediately invalidates the stored tokens. To ask us to delete any locally stored data related to your account, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days.
Children
The app is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
